JAGUARIBE LODGE HOTEL

On Canto da Barra beach, in an area of 8 hectares with a 1.5 kilometre stretch of beach where the river meets the sea, is Jaguaribe Lodge & Kite, a hotel with a unique architectural design that has transformed tourism on the ‘Cliff Route’, or the Costa do Sol Nascente, as it is known among the people of Ceará.
With just 23 luxury bungalows with sea, garden, pool or dune views, and built on stilts so that the local vegetation and dunes remain untouched, the hotel offers a unique experience of privacy, ecotourism, sustainability and sport.

KITESURFING IN FORTIM
Jaguaribe Lodge&Kite has become a reference point in Ceará for kitesurfing, thanks to its privileged location next to a wind farm and at the meeting point of the Jaguaribe River and the sea.
Today, with the new Jaguaribe Kite centre and a team of 10 instructors with at least fluent English and certification, the structure is the largest in Ceará, offering a school for adults, young people and children, a shop and equipment rental.
The centre also has a space ideal for supporting sailors or for resting after sailing, and for sailors passing through, it is possible to rent equipment. There is also a shop with sports equipment.

In the pool area, our charming restaurant exclusively for guests
has pleasant seating and dining areas. With décor inspired by the Northeast, including items straight from Paraíba, such as the beautiful natural fibre rugs and armchairs.
The Jaguaribe Beach Restaurant has a large, airy indoor area overlooking the sea and outdoor areas with a beautiful coconut grove by the sea and private tents on the sand. Open to guests and the general public, it is open from 10am to 6pm, offering a choice of dishes, snacks and drinks to enjoy delicious moments contemplating the sea and the manoeuvres of the kitesurfers.

Origem Fortim was a dream that, when it came true, became a work of art by the beach. When it was idealised, we wanted the architecture to reflect the design and charm that invite comfort. The resident’s interaction with the exuberant nature of the location and the freedom of being able to enjoy it with their feet in the sand guided the entire conception of the project.
Our team of specialists responsible for the idealisation gave life to innovative concepts for this paradise that is Origem Fortim. The layout is organic, unique and inspired by the Voronoy Diagram. We broke with the status quo and designed a real beach house, right on the sand, rather than a town house on the beach.
